WHAT IS NOAPA?
New Orleans Addiction Professional Association, Inc. (NOAPA) combines the strength and caring of professionals working in the Southeast Louisiana area. The purpose of the organization is to promote the growth of the Addiction Professional through education, training, communication, and of the advocacy of the issues related to addictive disorders.
The organization endorses the Code of Ethics of LA-ADRA as its ethical statement. New Orleans Addiction Professional Association, Inc. (NOAPA) is an organizational member of the Louisiana Association of Substance Abuse Counselors and Trainers (LASACT), to advocate, encourage and promote the profession of these professionals to substantially increase the visibility and recognition as well as the accountability and credibility of Addiction Professionals at the city and state levels.
