Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO) has appointed Dr. Evelyn B. Harrell as dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. Dr. Harrell, who also serves as director of SUNO’s Addictive Behaviors Counseling and Prevention Program. Previously, Dr. Harrell had served as the interim dean of Arts & Sciences since July 2016. Dr. Harrell is replacing Dr. Lisa Mims-Devezin, who is now SUNO’s chancellor.
